A Fresh Tale - The Story of Wynola Pizza & Bistro
The Horner family Harry, Sabine and six year old twins,
Harry Jr. and Hanni, decided they would like to escape the confines of living in the Los Angeles area. They began  to look  for a place that offered closeness to nature as well as proximity to a major metropolitan area. Julian, being just over an hour from the city by car, was the perfect place.
Julian is a historic gold mining town that is beautiful all year round. Snow in spring and winter, golden turning leaves in fall, daffodils and lilac in spring and warm sunny days in summer make this mountain playground an all year destination and a great place to live. Harry and Sabine purchased Wynola Springs, a quaint commercial center just outside Julian, and got busy renovating.

On April 1, 2001 they proudly opened Wynola Pizza & Bistro. Sabine, with an extensive background and a love for cooking, runs this gourmet restaurant that offers delicious pizza, entrees and salads.
